When looking for a day out, we’d recommend you to try and go a little offbeat rather the cliched spots like Amer Fort, Jal Mahal or Nahargarh.

Sambhar-The Salt Lake
Sunrise at Sambhar Saltlake/Bhuvan Gaur
The Sambhar Salt Lake is India’s largest inland salt lake. This bowl shape lake encircles historical Sambhar Lake Town. So, be it a camp out or spending a day there, the experience is unique.

Aathuni Kund near Charan Mandir/Megha Bhutra
Semi-trekking place on your way to Nahargarh. All you need to do to reach here is, park your vehicle at Charan Mandir and then trek down!

It is one of the most interesting and informative farms. It provides fun activities while making you aware about the biggest mammal on earth. Furthermore, it is a perfect place to spend some fun time with family and kids.

If you wish to spend your time in silence, then this offbeat place is just the one. In addition, the massive lake attracts many migratory birds apart from few resident ones.

Once a major water source of Jaipur, Kanota Dam is one of the chilling spots for the youth nowadays. Probably you can spend some quiet time sitting around this dam. Seems like the best place to go in this weather.

Another budding tourist destination. The ruins of the Bijak-ki-pahadi, a Buddhist Chaitya is hard to miss there. In addition, one can explore the prehistoric natural caves located inside various hills. Better go there before others do!

Finally, the last place to add in your bucket list. Bhangarh infamous for its haunted stories yet, it is one place everyone should visit. Also, flanked by the Aravalis on all three sides, it encloses a fort, as well as temples, cenotaphs and havelis.
