Pubs, lounges, and fine dining is good, but nothing can ever replace the feel of dhabas in Jaipur.
Especially, when its the end of the month and your finances are not exactly in their best shape. But food is love, right? And you don’t give up on love so easily.
Anyway, those fancy dining places never exactly satisfy your shuddh desi palate. So, here’s a list of the best dhabas in Jaipur that’ll leave your tummy and wallet full. Ditch the fine-dine plans for this weekend and you might end up surprising yourself, pleasantly!

What Murthal is to Delhi, Sharma Dhaba is for Jaipur. You can call it a food heaven for vegetarians.
It has a casual outdoor seating and is ideally located on the highway. Just a perfect road-side dhaba with delicious food. Just bid your diet plans a goodbye before you head here because there is no limit on how much ghee you ask for!
Must have – Mawa naan and Kulhad lassi
khandelwal dhaba, sikar road
Khadelwal Dhaba is right up there with Sharma Dhaba in terms of popularity. What’s more, it is located right opposite to it on Sikar Road.
The place has decent seating and is ideal to visit with family or friends. You could head here for a scrumptious dinner after a long drive on the highway. The food is really good and at a very reasonable price.
Must have – Sev tamatar ki sabzi, Jungli roti with lehsun ki chutney
neelam dhaba, Mi road
One of the oldest dhabas in Jaipur, a lot of people have fond memories of Neelam Dhaba. Just ask someone who has studied in Maharaja College.
Located in Nehru Bazar on MI Road, Neelam Dhaba’s food speaks for itself. Also, it is pocket-friendly so just perfect for students. However, its location in the old city results in parking problems. So, we suggest you park your vehicle a little outside and take a walk to the dhaba.
Must have – Aloo gobhi, paneer bhurji
Hanuman dhaba, raja park

Raja Park can easily be termed as Jaipur foodie’s paradise.
Hanuman Dhaba is one of the oldest dhabas in Raja Park and maintains its authentic taste till date. It’s in the middle of the market so this could be a quick stop-over during shopping. Since its on a busy road, parking could again be a problem.
Must have – Dal Makhni, Rumali Roti
ganesh bhojanalaya, lal kothi

If you are looking for the word “cheap eat” and can forget “hygiene” for a night, Ganesh Bhojanalaya is the place for you. Located in Lal Kothi, near the Vidhan Sabha, the place is one of the oldest dhabas in Jaipur. The food here is dirt cheap but delicious. I’ll list it as the perfect place for hostelers, and college students who always find themselves in a cash crunch.
Must Have: Tandoori Roti, Dal Fry
Khandelwal dhaba, sanganer
There are two Khandelwal dhabas overlooking the airport but we are talking about the one inside the lane.
It’s quite an old place but they have a large sitting space and offer delicious food. When you are not in a mood for the highway, this could be the ideal dhaba to satiate your desi cravings.
Must have – Aloo Pyaaz ki sabzi, Masala papad
