Food, Shopping & Live Music Under One Roof: This Weekend In Jaipur Will Be Fun

Weekends can be so much fun if done the right way. You can either snooze through lying in your bed or you get outside, explore, and have fun. And if you are looking for reasons to step out this weekend, we have the perfect one for you.

Colorstrokes Jaipur – the city’s biggest pop-up event is back with its summer edition. And it looks so much fun. Scrumptious food, endless shopping, live music, experiential workshops and more. There is something for everyone.

So, your friends won’t ditch you with the lame excuse “par wahan karenge kya?” While I can barely contain my excitement, I thought I’d jot down the best things happening at Colorstrokes to give you that last push. I am basically “making you an offer you can’t refuse.”

Okay, I’ll be honest. I am not a person who looooooves shopping. But if I start listing down people who do, it’ll be endless. So, if you are also one of those who munch spring catalougues for breakfast, you are in for a treat.

The finest designers of Jaipur would be setting up stalls and displaying their latest summer collection. From traditional to contemporary, and black to white, you’ll have tonnes of options to choose from.

If updating the wardrobe is on your priority list, you don’t need to look further than Colorstrokes.

Workshops at Colorstrokes

The best way to put your time and energy to good use is by learning something new. And if someone can make that learning fun too, isn’t that a cherry on the top?

So, if you are itching to add a new skill on LinkedIn or show something cool on Instagram, these specially curated workshops are just for you. Zumba, Do It Yourself Crafts, Painting a Canvas – you’ll definitely find something that matches your interest.

My personal favorite? It has got to be the “Magic Cakes by Sprinkles.” Why? Because Cakes, that’s why!

If you wish to register at one of the workshop, check this link.

“And why do we fall, Bruce?

So, we can learn to pick ourselves up.”

You all remember this famous line from Batman Begins, don’t you? Well, sometimes, a word of inspiration is all it takes to lift you up in dire times.

And there would  be no dearth of wisdom on offer at Colorstrokes. Be it from Mr. India runner up Jitesh Thakur or the face of “Humans of Jaipur City,” Navpreet Singh, these interactive sessions would definitely make you see a new side to things.

And where words don’t suffice, poetry does. You can join in for a special session of poetry too by The Poetry Recitals.

Food at colorstrokes

Listen, I am a simple man and I have simple demands. When someone asks me to tag along somewhere, I just ask one thing, “Will there be food?” If they say yes, I happily oblige.

If you can relate to what I am saying, there’s good news for you. The last I checked there would be plenty of good food at Colorstrokes. So, keep your pockets full and belly empty.

When everything else fails, music speaks.

If you enjoy live jams, you can catch Root and Project Yugm – two of Jaipur’s finest bands playing at Colorstrokes. Nothing better than soothing music after you are done with your shopping and hogging.

wait, there’s more…

Tarot Reading

Alright, I thing I have given you enough reasons to be at Colorstrokes Jaipur already.  But if you are one of those snobbish types, here’s more. If you love art, there’s a fabulous display of artwork by Sanch Creative Colors to treat you. Also, you can get yourself a Tarot Card reading from famous Tarot Reader Tapsi Wadhwa.

So, free up your calendar on 1st and 2nd of April. See you at the Diggi Palace.
