10 Awesome JLF Sessions You’d Love To Attend This Year

Every year in January, Jaipur becomes the world capital of literature. Thousands of book lovers swarm in to be a part of the Jaipur Literature Festival or JLF and listen to their favorite authors.

This year, the festival will run from 19th to 23rd of January. At its perennial home Diggi Palace, JLF is expected to welcome over 250 distinguished authors and speakers.

With the schedule packed with exciting rounds of discussions, you might find it tough to choose your pick. So, here’s a list of ten sessions that we believe you just cannot miss at JLF this year.

Day 1

Academy Award-winning writer Sir David Hare is the force behind astounding films “The Reader” and “The Hours.”

With film critic Raja Sen he discusses his work and the nuances of writing and direction.

Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy

Sadhguru in conversation with Sanjoy K. Roy

Day 2


A World of Disruptions

Day 3


The Page is Mightier than the Screen

Shakespeare’s Restless World

Neil MacGregor introduced by Tim Supple

Time: 12.30pm-1.30 pm
Venue: Front Lawn

 Acclaimed author and the ex-director of the British Museum, Neil MacGregor explores of the “Age of William Shakespeare.”

With Tim Supple, MacGregor looks at objects from Shakespeare’s life and times and uncovers the fascinating stories.
