The eatery stays true to its name – simple and to the point. People come here for delicious food, and that’s what they are served. The limited menu is no deterrent for those looking to tuck into yummy Tibetan cuisine. Regulars vouch for their oh-so-yum chicken momos. You could even pair them with a helping of Thukpa or Chowmein and make a meal of it. You don’t even need to worry about ordering a second or third plate since everything is value-for-money.

Momos served here are made in the authentic Tibetan style and are among the first choices for those who want to try the original version of this popular street food.

The momos part of their menu just mentions two variations {veg and chicken}, but what is special is the Pan-Fried option. Neither bland and steamed nor deep fried in all of the Middle East’s oil, the pan-fried chicken momos make us feel a wee bit healthier. Not only are their momos super fantastic, but their sauce is equally good.

One of the few places in Bangalore focusing on the Nepalese style, Bamey’s serves five different variants of vegetable, chicken and mutton momos. For those who simply can’t decide what to pick, there’s the Momo Platter giving you a little bit of everything. If you want to spice things up then go for their Fiery Chilli kind. For those with tamer palates, the Paneer Butter Spinach and Cheesy Chicken Corn are other options. We’re equally intrigued by the Bhatti Ko, steamed momos dunked in a cashew-thickened tomato gravy.
