We all can relate to receiving annoying WhatsApp forwards in family groups every morning with baby pictures, plants, waterfalls and what not just to say Good Morning?
*ugh-ing* in unison. On Thursday, WhatsApp announced it was planning to put a limit on the number of chats a message can be forwarded to, capping the number at five in India and 20 for other countries. All the gyaan vachan related texts in groups are coming to an end and a relief for aunties & uncles who cannot stop forwarding texts to hundreds of people. No need to bear horrible jokes and horrendous threats like ‘something bad will happen to you if you don’t forward this to 12 groups’
